The Stables Matakana Wedding Photography
I always promise myself I won't write about the weather in my posts... but seriously... how good is the weather at the moment!? Alysha and Michael's wedding in Omaha / Matakana was an absolute stunner and the perfect conditions gave the whole day a fresh summery vibe that everyone was soaking up.
The lads had their prep at Michael's parents' place in Omaha, while the girls were just up the road in a lovely bach. They all met at the beach for a first look; it was a really special moment - Mike might've even had a little tear or two...
The ceremony continued at The Stables Matakana where I realised that I knew 90% of the people at the wedding (blimmen Coasties). After the formalities we headed up the hill for some sunset shots, where we were serenaded by the sweet songs of kookaburra and kaka. As for the dust... a lovely lady in a Ford Falcon was very obliging and drove past as fast as she could, kicking up all the dust we needed for an epic moment
Alysha and Michael - what an amazing day and I'm so grateful to have been able to share it with you both
PS to my astonishment, Alysha's Rue De Seine dress has a heart-shaped train... it was exquisite!
