Whangarei wedding photography

Lauren and Lance’s wedding was set on a secluded private property out in the beautiful countryside of Maungatapere, west of Whangarei. Lauren’s dad’s land has this meandering river running through it. It made the perfect spot on a hot Northland day for these two love birds to tie the knot. Lance even built a bridge across the river so that all their loved ones could keep their feet from getting wet. What a guy! Lauren obviously made a stunning bride, but what really struck me the most was just how serenely relaxed she was. Yet she still had an absolute blast throughout the day. There are soooo many photos of Lauren completely cracking up, which was both adorable and infectious.

The super-fun and relaxed country reception was held at the Kara Kokopu Community Hall, just down the road. As the evening progressed and the sun was due to set, we wandered through some local fields for the couple to spend a few private moments together away from the all the action. Of course, being out in the country, we found some animals too! Georgia the dog also tagged along. We got cosy with a a heard of cows and Lauren even patted a foal… along with the stunning light, it was heavenly.

Congratulations Lauren and Lance – you really nailed it – what a great wedding that I am so proud to be a part of.
