Samantha and James had their Kerikeri wedding on a beautiful November day. These two are madly in love with life, laughter and of course, each other.
Like many couples these days, they met online, organised a date and then another. They hit it off – big time. It didn’t take long for James to realise he had met his match in Samantha and she is the (second) love of his – after his beautiful daughter Olive.
Samantha and James made it official in James’ hometown of Kerikeri, at a beautiful private residence of a family friend. Family was obviously of key importance to the couple throughout each part of the day, with their amazing Mums, Samantha’s hilarious sister and the adorable wee Olive playing a big part in helping to set up. They arranged the beautiful flowers, fantastic grazing platter and the Pinterest-inspired lawn games.
Their wedding day was relaxed, full of fun and a serious amount of laughter. During the super-funny speeches, we both had a good chuckle along with their guests and noted there was no shortage of happy tears thrown in for good measure. All of their families and friends clearly have a huge amount of love and respect for this gorgeous young couple.
Samantha and James make a wonderful team and we were so honoured to be able to capture the official beginning of their lives together. We can’t wait to hear updates of how this lovely family is getting on in the years to come!
