Greg Campbell – Greytown, Wairarapa wedding photography
I had quite the adventure in January, shooting Anna and Ben’s flawless wedding just out of Greytown. The ceremony and reception were both held on Ben’s family farm, about an hour and a half north of Wellington. It was one of those days where things just went right! The weather, the venue, the guests, the bridal party – everything was amazeballs. It could have been about 10º cooler… but that just meant the beverages were that much more refreshing.
Anna and Ben had a gorgeous first-look in a field on the farm and I was overly-excited about the huge anvil clouds building on the horizon. We then used a whole heap of rural settings for photography – leaving no dilapidated shack in the area un-photographed! In the end, a dusty farm trail caught my eye. All it took was for Anna and Ben to turn on their usual photogenic gorgeousness and boom!
Anna and Ben even had time to rehearse their first dance in this magnificent old room with their bridal party looking on – it was truly a photographer’s dream!
A beautiful garden ceremony followed, more sheds and old farm houses for some extra couple-photos and an evening of fantastic food, great speeches and dancing wrapped up a truly magical day.
